The Native STEM Portraits project celebrates the fusion of modern STEM disciplines with Indigenous identity, uplifting Native voices in these fields. While working with TERC, I focused on creating a clean, minimalist design with bold visuals to highlight both the science and the stories behind it.
Icons like the atom, gear, motif, tech, feather, and camera symbolize STEM and cultural identity, while the vibrant color palette—turquoise, honey, berry, and plum—reflects warmth and cultural richness. The sleek logo ties it all together, evoking hope, connection, and belonging.
